I can use Pythagoras’ Theorem to solve simple problems involving right-angled triangles.
Pythagoras’ Theorem
Pythagoras’ Theorem states that when you create squares with the 2 sides of a right-angled triangle (a and b) that it equals to the square created by the hypotenuse (c).
It is a very useful tool in determining unknown lengths in right-angled triangles.
One key piece of information is that sides ‘a’ or ‘b’ can be interchanged, but side ‘c’ is ALWAYS the hypotenuse.

Formula: A squared + B squared = C squared
