### Performing operations with algebraic fractions is fairly easy. You just have to follow the same rules as you would with regular fractional values.

### When adding or subtracting fractions, you just have to make sure that you are keeping *the denominator the same* before adding or subtracting.

### When multiplying fractions you just have to *multiply the numerator by the numerator and the denominator by the denominator*.

### When dividing fractions you just have to *flip (find the inverse)* of the second fraction and then multiply the fractions.
