**Investigate, with and without digital technologies, angles at a point. Use results to find unknown angles (ACMMG141)**

**LO: To identify angles on a point**

**Know:**

- How to use a protractor to measure angles.

**Understand:**

- That all angles on a point add up to 360 degrees.

**Do:**

- I can find the angles on a point.

**Angles Around a Point**

**Angles around a point always adds up to 360 degrees!**

**We can use reasoning to help solve angle around the point questions. Since we know that angles around a point has to add up to 360 degrees, if 240 is taken up from 1 section then we can subtract 240 from 360 which will give me the remaining piece.**

**360 – 240 = 120**

**In this case x = 120 degrees.**
